Police investigating after 2 people found shot to death in Phoenix parking garage

PHOENIX — A man and woman have been found fatally shot inside a vehicle at a parking garage in central Phoenix.

Police say someone went into the parking garage underneath an office building at 17th Street and Highland around 10:45 a.m. Friday and alerted authorities.

Police say the two had gunshot wounds and both were pronounced dead at the scene.

They say a gun was found inside a dark-colored SUV.

Police say the man appeared to be in his 50s and was in the driver's seat and the woman who appeared to be in her 30s was in the passenger's seat.

Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Vince Lewis says investigators are trying to identify the man and woman and determine their relationship.

He says police aren't looking for any suspects in the shooting.
