FAYETTEVILLE, Arkansas — A Fayetteville man who pleaded guilty to producing child pornography has been sentenced to 55 years in federal prison.
U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge said Thursday that investigators learned that a pornographic image involving a child was posted on social media in November 2013. Court records show agents with a search warrant found numerous images of child pornography on electronic devices owned by 19-year-old Jesse Oziah.
A federal judge on Thursday ordered Oziah to serve 25 years of supervised probation after his 55-year sentence is complete.
Prosecutors say Oziah sexually assaulted a child younger than 10 years old and actively distributed other images depicting child pornography via the Internet.
The case was investigated by agents from the Homeland Security Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
