LEXINGTON, New York — State police say a 55-year-old man has died in an all-terrain vehicle crash in the Catskill Mountains.

Troopers say Bronislaw Czarniak of West Kill was driving an ATV on a private trail near his home Monday when the vehicle crashed and overturned while he traveled down a hill in the Greene County town of Lexington, in the northern Catskills 40 miles southwest of Albany.

Police say Czarniak was ejected from the ATV when it flipped over. Czarniak, who wasn't wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
