IRONDALE, Alabama — Authorities say two people are dead after a car left the roadway and crashed on Interstate 459 near Birmingham.
Al.com reports (http://bit.ly/1z8IBag ) the car, a 2000 Chrevrolet Cavalier, crashed into a tree off I-459 at early Saturday at about 2:30 a.m. No other vehicles were involved the crash in Irondale, about 7 miles east of Birmingham.
Authorities said 57-year-old Charles Richard Snider of Birmingham and 57-year-old Debbra Obrien Snider of Pinson were pronounced dead at the scene.
Alabama state troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
