Late drive pushes James Madison past Delaware 24-21

NEWARK, Delaware — Brandon Ravenel hauled in a 12-yard touchdown throw with 17 seconds left to lift James Madison to a 24-21 win over Delaware on Saturday.

JMU began the go-ahead drive from its own 49 with 1:05 to play following Delaware's botched 5-yard punt. Rashard Davis grabbed a 23-yard pass from Bryan Schor and Khalid Abdullah pulled down a 16-yarder, setting up Ravenel's game-winner. The JMU defense then recovered a Delaware fumble on the final play.

Schor, in his second start at quarterback, threw for 193 yards and ran in an earlier score from the 3 for James Madison (8-2, 5-2 Colonial). Cardon Johnson had a 48-yard touchdown run and Ryan Maglio kicked a short field goal.

Joe Walker ran in two touchdowns for Delaware (3-7, 2-5) and Ryan Torzsa recovered a fumble that he returned 41 yards for a TD.
