Crews search for man who went missing from his upstate New York home

SARATOGA, New York — Authorities are searching for a man who went missing earlier this week near his upstate New York home.

The Times-Union of Albany reports (http://bit.ly/1ImCdOQ ) that 68-year-old Frederick Drumm was last seen around 10 a.m. Tuesday in his Saratoga home.

The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office says forest rangers, fire departments and volunteer groups scoured the area on Thanksgiving without finding him and were resuming their search for him Friday morning.

Officials say Drumm left his home on foot in the area of farms and heavily wooded properties.
