Blackhawks bring up F Tanner Kero from Rockford

CHICAGO — The Chicago Blackhawks have promoted forward Tanner Kero from Rockford of the American Hockey League.

The Blackhawks also reassigned forward Vince Hinostroza to their AHL affiliate on Tuesday.

Kero (CARE-oh) had five goals and two assists in five games with the IceHogs this season. The 23-year-old Kero signed with Chicago in April after playing college hockey for Michigan Tech.

Hinostroza made his NHL debut on Oct. 17 at Columbus. He had no points in four games with the Blackhawks.

Chicago's next game is Thursday at Winnipeg.
