RICHMOND, Virginia — Someone who bought a Mega Millions ticket in Warrenton is about to claim a $5 million prize.

The Virginia Lottery says the winner's identity will be revealed Friday afternoon at a ceremonial check presentation at the Sheetz store where the ticket for the June 12 drawing was sold.

The winning numbers were 1-40-42-56-62 and the Mega Ball number was 2.

The Warrenton winner matched the first five numbers but missed the Mega Millions number. However, that person added the Megaplier for an extra $1. That boosted the prize to $5 million because the Megaplier number for the drawing was 5.
