TOLEDO, Ohio — A former three-term mayor of Toledo is jumping into this year's special election for mayor in the state's fourth-largest city.
Former Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner is joining a crowded field that now includes three of the city's last four mayors.
The election in November will determine who serves out the final two years of the term of Mayor D. Michael Collins who died last winter after just one year on the job.
The widow of the former mayor, Sandy Drabik Collins, already is in the race along with Paula Hicks-Hudson, who became mayor after Collins' death.
Also running Mike Bell who was mayor of Toledo before being defeated by Mike Collins.
