LOUISVILLE, Kentucky — Louisville will visit national runner-up Clemson and host Florida State within a three-week span in a 2016 schedule featuring three ranked teams and six 2015 bowl teams.
The Music City Bowl champion Cardinals will host the No. 15 Seminoles on Sept. 17 before visiting defending Atlantic Coast Conference champion Clemson two weeks later in South Carolina. Louisville will also visit Marshall and No. 8 Houston and host Duke and North Carolina State, also postseason participants, along with facing Syracuse, Virginia, Boston College and Wake Forest.
Louisville will host Charlotte on Sept. 1 in the program's first Thursday season opener since 2007. The Cardinals will close on Nov. 26 at home against in-state rival Kentucky, seeking their sixth straight win in a series even at 14.

October 1, at Clemson; 14, Duke; 22, North Carolina State; 29, at Virginia.
