JERICHO, Vermont — Vermont State Police say they've discovered a suspected methamphetamine lab while investigating a family disturbance in Jericho.
Police say 19-year-old Terry Bettis was arrested early Wednesday morning for violating conditions of his release related to pending burglary charges.
Authorities say while talking to Bettis, they found materials used to make methamphetamines.
Police say the state hazardous materials team and Vermont National Guard members were called to the scene to handle any hazards.
Authorities say there is no threat to the public.
Bettis is being held on $1,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned later Wednesday. It was not immediately known if Bettis is being represented by a lawyer.
