FLORENCE, Arizona — An Oro Valley man has been sentenced to more than 100 years in prison for sexually abusing two of his adopted children.

Pinal County prosecutors say 44-year-old Shane Bush received a 103 ½ year prison term.

A jury convicted Bush in July on nine counts including four counts each of sexual conduct with a minor and dangerous crimes against children plus one count of attempted sexual conduct with a minor.

Bush was accused of sexually abusing the two victims for more than seven years, starting in Hawaii and then continuing in Oro Valley.

One of the victims turned Bush in to Oro Valley police in 2013.

Authorities say Bush tried to overdose on prescription medications before he was arrested in the case.
