CASPER, Wyoming — Firefighters have contained a wildfire that burned more than 200 acres of grass and sage brush near Gray Reef Reservoir in Natrona County.

Bob Fawcett, of the Natrona County Fire Protection District, says the fire started around 12:30 p.m. Sunday near Highway 220 and was fully contained by about 6 p.m.

No structures were damaged or injuries reported.

Fawcett tells the Casper Star-Tribune (http://bit.ly/1NSg93W ) that the fire did come within about 100 feet of a house but was stopped before damaging the building.

Fawcett believes the fire may have been human caused because it started near the highway, and there were no reports of lightning in the area.

Sunday saw red flag conditions in a large of Wyoming, but Monday brought cooler weather.
