Man accused of stealing from Dunseith Community Center pleads guilty to federal charge

BISMARCK, North Dakota — A man accused of stealing from the Dunseith Community Center has pleaded guilty in federal court.

Twenty-four-year-old Louis Cottonwood is charged with burglary. He faces up to five years in prison.

Authorities say the theft happened in June 2013 and involved about $2,500 in property.

Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 9.

A public federal defender could not be reached for comment.
