MYRTLE BEACH, South Carolina — Two people have been charged in the weekend shooting death of a Myrtle Beach man.
Authorities tell local media outlets that 50 year old Berry Selmon was found dead Saturday in a car in a shopping center parking lot. He died of a gunshot wound to the head.
Police on Sunday charged 39-year-old Keith Levan with murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. In addition, 43-year-old Penny Hubbard is charged with accessory to a felony. It was not immediately known if the two had attorneys.
According to arrest warrants, Hubbard had made plans to meet with the victim and when Levan found out, he got angry, grabbed a rifle and left his house.
