CHATTANOOGA, Tennessee — National experts have agreed to help Chattanooga authorities in the cold case slaying of a 10-year-old boy.

Josh Walden was found dead in a wooded area near his home two days after he went missing more than 14 years ago.

WRCB-TV (http://bit.ly/1CjKinb) reports the DA Office's Cold Case Unit met with experts on Wednesday from the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation; Federal Bureau of Investigation; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearm & Explosives; and the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.

Cold Case Unit investigator Mike Mathis says those agencies will return to the city in coming months and partner with local officials to review the case and follow up on leads.
