LUNENBURG, Massachusetts — A man whose body was found in a lake in Lunenburg has been identified as a 92-year-old local resident.

Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. says Harry Underwood was found floating in Lake Shirley on Friday morning. Early says Underwood appears to have drowned. The medical examiner's office is investigating.

Authorities say neighbors found Underwood's water-pedal bike floating in a cove Thursday afternoon and assumed it had just gotten loose from a dock. They towed it back and secured it to the dock.

Underwood lived directly across from the cove where his body was found by a nearby resident.
