Gas prices down about a nickel for 2nd week in New Hampshire, 8 cents lower than natl average


CONCORD, New Hampshire — Gas prices in New Hampshire fell nearly a nickel per gallon in the past week, to an average of $2.21.

Gasbuddy.com, which surveyed 875 gas stations in the state, says that's 8 cents lower than the national average, which fell 3.7 cents per gallon to $2.29.

Gas prices in New Hampshire are nearly $1.17 lower than they were a year ago, and 25.6 cents per gallon lower than a month ago.

The national average is 34.1 cents per gallon lower than it was a month ago and about $1.04 per gallon lower than a year ago.
