PHOENIX — A former juvenile corrections officer in Phoenix faces a criminal charge after being accused of sexual misconduct with an inmate.
The Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections says that Jeremy Hazen is no longer employed and now faces a felony charge of sexual contact by a correctional officer with an inmate.
Hazen had worked for the department since September 2013, a spokeswoman said.
On Wednesday, an inmate at Adobe Mountain School in Phoenix accused Hazen of sexual misconduct.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
