West Virginia University to open University Park housing complex in Morgantown

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia — West Virginia University is opening its newest housing complex in Morgantown.

WVU President Gordon Gee is among the scheduled speakers at a ceremony Thursday for University Park on the Evansdale campus.

It has 408 furnished one-, two- and four-bedroom apartments for lease to WVU graduate and professional students, faculty and staff. It also includes Oakland Hall, a residence hall designed to accommodate 902 undergraduate students.

The housing complex also has a cafe and laundry facilities and will have commercial businesses including a restaurant and a fitness gym.
