INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis college campus says there's no longer a threat following a nearby shooting.
Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis sent an advisory Sunday afternoon on Twitter warning of "a dangerous situation" after shots were fired near Eskenazi Health and Riley Hospital for Children.
The school later advised there was no longer a campus threat. The hospitals are on the edge of the downtown campus.
Police say a domestic issue turned into an altercation between two people after they exited a bus near the campus, and one person fired several shots. Police say the victim and the shooter have been accounted for.
It wasn't clear if the persons involved had any connection to IUPUI.
