PORTLAND, Oregon — A Sherwood police officer is back at work after spending more than a year on administrative leave amid investigations into an accusation that he harassed and intimidated a teenager who accused his wife of sexual abuse.
The department says Adam Keesee returned to duty Wednesday after an internal investigation found no wrongdoing. He had already been cleared of criminal misconduct, with a prosecutor saying Keesee acted unprofessionally in his interactions with the teen, but did not commit a crime.
Keesee was the resource officer at the high school where his wife, Denise, was a teacher. She pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a different boy and was sentenced in April to 30 days in custody.
