STEWARTSTOWN, New Hampshire — A public meeting has been scheduled for March 16 to discuss plans to rehabilitate a Connecticut River bridge between Stewartstown, New Hampshire, and Canaan, Vermont.
Transportation officials plan to discuss repairs, deck replacement, and painting.
The street carrying traffic over the bridge will be closed for the 2016 and 2017 construction seasons between the intersections with Route 253 on the Vermont side, and Church and River streets in New Hampshire. A detour will use Vermont Route 114/Main Street over the river.
The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the community room at the Stewartstown Community School.
