Vancleave woman sentenced to 5 years' probation for embezzling $13K from her former employer


PASCAGOULA, Mississippi — A 54-year-old Vancleave woman has been sentenced to five years' probation and ordered to repay thousands of dollars she embezzled from her former employer.

The Sun Herald reports (http://bit.ly/1I60hdP) a Jackson County grand jury indicted Susan Paulette Frady on one count of embezzlement. She was accused of taking over $13,000 between Oct. 1, 2013, and July 29, 2014, from financial accountant Charles Graham Jr. when she worked for him.

As part of her sentence, Frady was admitted into the Jackson County Drug Court program. She was also ordered to pay a $100 special assessment to the Crime Victims' Compensation Fund.
