BOISE CITY, Oklahoma — The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the 2-year-old shooting death of an Alva man in Boise (boyz) City.

The reward was announced Friday — the second anniversary of the shooting death of 77-year-old Charles Nieman outside a Boise City convenience store.

The OSBI says Nieman and his wife had stopped for gas when a man walked up and demanded Nieman's wallet. The agency says Nieman was hard of hearing and asked his wife what the man said, then the man then shot Nieman in the head and ran from the scene.

The suspect has been identified only as Hispanic, in his late 20s to early 30s, about 5-feet-6 to 5-feet-8 inches tall with a medium build.
