UNITYVILLE, Pennsylvania — Authorities have released the names of two women killed in a three-vehicle crash in central Pennsylvania.

State police in Lycoming County say their vehicle failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of state routes 42 and 118 in Jordan Township on Friday morning.

Police said 73-year-old Carol Peslin of Hamilton, New Jersey and Barbara Mensch of Flemingsburg, Kentucky were flown to Geisinger Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead by the Montour County coroner. Both were using seat belts.

Another 77-year-old man was reported in serious condition at the hospital. A third driver was uninjured.
