CLEARWATER, Florida — A Tampa Bay area man who fatally stabbed an acquaintance and led authorities on a two-day manhunt has been sentenced to life in prison.

The Tampa Tribune (http://goo.gl/ldCcTP ) reports that a Pinellas County jury found 38-year-old Michael Lease guilty Thursday of first-degree murder.

Prosecutors say Lease stabbed 23-year-old Dwight Tisdale nearly 30 times in a car parked outside a Palm Harbor supermarket last January. Assistant State Attorney David Tobiassen said the two men were involved in business together, and that something must have gone wrong and the situation became personal.
