FULDA, Minnesota — The Minnesota State Patrol says two people have died in a car crash that also injured at least three people, including two children.

The patrol says two cars crashed in a broadside accident Sunday afternoon in Murray County near Fulda. It hasn't released the names or details of the people who died.

The patrol says a 12-year-old and 9-year-old from Worthington sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The driver of their vehicle, David Schulz, was seriously injured. The 38-year-old from Worthington was taken to a Robbinsdale hospital. His condition is unclear.

Authorities are investigating the crash.
