State police say Little Rock woman, 80, killed in crash on Interstate 630; 2 others injured


LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas — Arkansas State Police say one person was killed over the weekend in a crash on Interstate 630 in Little Rock.

According to a preliminary report, the wreck happened Saturday morning near the University Avenue exit. The report says 80-year-old Lynell Bristow of Little Rock was killed when the pickup truck she was traveling in crashed into a minivan, then struck a concrete barrier.

State police say the pickup's driver was injured along with the driver of the van.

State police say 465 people have died so far this year on Arkansas roads.
