DETROIT — Kahil Felder scored 22 points with nine assists and six rebounds as Oakland beat Detroit 86-82 on Saturday.
Jalen Hayes added 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Golden Grizzlies (11-7, 3-2 Horizon League). Percy Gibson had 17 points and Sherron Dorsey-Walker had 14. The team averaged 47.8 percent shooting from the field, 69.6 percent from the line and had a 40-34 rebounding edge over Detroit.
Oakland trailed by as many as eight points in the first half but surged 17-10 in the final five minutes of the period to take a 43-40 lead at halftime on a Dorsey-Walker 3-pointer.
The Golden Grizzlies extended their lead to 73-62 midway through the second half. Detroit got as close as two points, 84-82, with 28 second to play but Oakland held on for the win.
Jaleel Hogan and Paris Bass scored 20 points apiece for the Titans (9-7, 3-2).
