Police investigating after car hits, kills pedestrian on southern New Jersey road

PENNSAUKEN, New Jersey — A man is dead after he was hit by a car in southern New Jersey.

Police say the man was walking on Route 130 in Pennsauken when a car struck him around 10 p.m. Sunday.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver stopped after the crash.

Authorities haven't disclosed the victim's name.
