GRANT TOWNSHIP, Michigan — Police say a 13-year-old girl was injured when a school bus was hit by a pickup truck in the northeastern Lower Peninsula.
State police say a 64-year-old man from Prescott didn't stop and hit the bus from behind on Tuesday morning in Iosco County's Grant Township.
The student, who was getting on the bus at the time, had what were described as minor injuries. The truck driver had non-life-threatening injuries.
MLive.com reports that other students on the Tawas school district bus at the time weren't injured. The crash is under investigation.
