OMAHA, Nebraska — Authorities say at least four people have been injured in a two-vehicle collision in Omaha involving an ambulance.

The Omaha Police Department says the crash in north Omaha happened Thursday afternoon after a vehicle collided with the ambulance. The ambulance was transporting a person to the hospital.

Police spokesman James Shade says three emergency personnel inside the ambulance were taken to the hospital in stable condition. The driver of the vehicle was also taken to the hospital in stable condition. It's unclear if the patient being transported received additional injury in the crash.

Authorities have not released names or the extent of injuries.
