LAGRANGE, New York — State police say a Hudson Valley man has died after a motorcycle crash in upstate New York.

It happened Saturday just after 8:30 p.m. in the town of LaGrange in Dutchess County. Troopers say 49-year-old Bobby Anderson of Poughkeepsie lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. He was pronounced dead less than an hour later.

Witnesses tell police they saw Anderson pass several vehicles at a high rate of speed in a no-passing zone before he crashed.

Troopers say no one else was involved in the crash.
