ST. ALBANS, West Virginia — A Cross Lanes man who was wanted on a felony bomb threat charge in Virginia has been arrested in St. Albans.

St. Albans Police say in a news release that 49-year-old Kenneth Dale Hughes was arrested Tuesday and charged as a fugitive from justice.

Hughes was arrested after a St. Albans Police officer noticed a man urinating in public at a bus stop. The officer ran a routine records check, and discovered Hughes was wanted out of Wise County, Virginia for a felony charge of a bomb threat.

Police say Hughes was indicted in July for allegedly calling 911 and reporting a bomb threat in Norton, Virginia.

Hughes was arrested without incident. He will be extradited to Virginia in the next few days.
