MISSOULA, Montana — Missoula firefighter Andrew Drobeck won the annual Scott Firefighter Stairclimb in Seattle for the fourth consecutive year.

The stair climb, a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, requires firefighters to race up 69 flights of stairs in Seattle's Columbia Center in full combat gear.

Drobeck won the race Sunday on 10 minutes, 46 seconds. He set the record of 10:38.2 in 2012. Drobeck tells the Missoulian (http://bit.ly/1KL8PaO ) he also competes in Ironman triathlons.

His fourth straight win along with Missoula rural firefighter Kory Burgess' victories from 2009-11, give Missoula-area firefighters the last seven crowns.

Missoula firefighter Benjamin Brunsvold, who finished third in 2013 and second last year, finished fourth in 12 minutes, 20 seconds.

Miles City Firefighter Sarah Young finished ninth in the women's division, climbing the 1,311 steps in 18:06.
