SALEM, Oregon — A Marion County sheriff's spokesman says multiple shots were fired Wednesday night in the parking lot of a Salem-area restaurant and two victims were taken to a hospital.

Sgt. Chris Baldridge says the gunfire involved a fight in the parking lot of a Red Robin. He did not immediately have details.

Baldridge said the condition of the two people taken to Salem Hospital was not immediately available.

Detectives were at the scene late Wednesday night interviewing witnesses.
