BISMARCK, North Dakota — A 56-year-old Bismarck woman accused of repeatedly stabbing a man over the breakup of their relationship has pleaded guilty.
The Bismarck Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/1lnzzlC) that Ila Painte pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated assault, a Class C felony that carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
The incident happened in January. Authorities say the 49-year-old victim was treated at a hospital and released.
A sentencing hearing has not been set.
