POTTSTOWN, Pennsylvania — Police say a construction supervisor died after he was hit by an SUV while setting up cones for a highway lane closure outside Philadelphia.

Police say Lee Boyer was struck just after 11 p.m. Wednesday on westbound Route 422 in North Coventry Township.

The 60-year-old Liberty man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The highway was closed for about five hours while police investigated. No charges have been filed.
