Fire damages Knights of Columbus building in Grand Forks; cause not immediately determined


GRAND FORKS, North Dakota — An early morning fire damaged the Knights of Columbus building in Grand Forks.

The blaze began shortly before 2 a.m. Monday. Officials told WDAZ-TV (http://bit.ly/1KNtnzU ) that a couch outside the building started on fire, and the flames spread to the building.

Investigators did not immediately determine what caused the couch to start on fire.

Damage was contained to the outside of the building. A damage estimate was not immediately available.

There were no immediate reports of any injuries.
