LOGAN, Utah — A man who pulled out two guns at a North Logan hospital and was shot by police will serve up to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to felony counts of aggravated assault and a weapons charge.

The Herald-Journal in Logan reports (http://bit.ly/1r0EI3Y) that 34-year-old Jason James Burr will serve at least one and as many as 15 years in prison.

Prosecutors dropped five other weapons and attempted robbery charges in exchange for the guilty pleas Burr entered in July as part of an agreement with prosecutors.

Authorities say Burr entered the Cache Valley Hospital in May brandishing two handguns and threatening to shoot if he didn't get prescription drugs.

He was shot three times after he was confronted by two officers accompanying an inmate to the hospital.
