CASPER, Wyoming — Police are investigating after a man's body was found in a snowbank near downtown Casper.

Sgt. Scott Jones tells the Casper Star-Tribune (http://goo.gl/VGkMI5 ) that investigators do not yet know if foul play was involved or if the death was natural, but he deemed the situation suspicious.

The man, whose name has not been released, was found dead in a snowbank on some railroad tracks in an abandoned loading dock Wednesday morning. Stacks of railroad ties blocked the snowbank from view.

Deputy Coroner Wayne Reynolds has not released the cause and manner of death.
