PRATTVILLE, Alabama — Police have accused a Prattville man of shooting a woman who was found outside hours later.

Court records show authorities charged 22-year-old James Brandon Jordan with attempted murder. The Montgomery Advertiser ( ) reports he was being held Friday in the Autauga Metro Jail on a $60,000 bond.

It was unclear whether Jordan had a defense attorney.

Police Chief Mark Thompson said the shooting appears to be an incident of domestic violence. The victim was listed in stable but critical condition Friday at Baptist Medical Center South.
