FARMINGDALE, Maine — A Farmingdale man has died in a weekend all-terrain vehicle crash.

Police say 34-year-old Jason Clark was driving down the middle of Northern Avenue at about 1 a.m. Saturday reportedly on the way home from a party when he lost control of his three-wheeled ATV and rolled it.

State police say Clark likely died instantly.

The crash was reported by a passer-by who came upon the scene on her way home.

Trooper Kyle Pelletier says the preliminary investigation indicates that speed and alcohol appear to be factors in the death.

No other vehicles or people were involved.
