CHARLOTTE, North Carolina — A Charlotte man has been indicted on a federal sex trafficking charge.
The Charlotte Observer reports (http://bit.ly/1p5qPm2 ) Friday that a federal grand jury indicted 32-year-old Tony Drum with two counts each of sex trafficking of children by force, fraud or coercion, and coercion or enticement of a minor female.
Drum was arrested last year on charges that he met a 14-year-old South Carolina girl online, brought her to Charlotte, then forced her into prostitution. That arrest came after police found the girl walking alone on a city street and discovered she was a missing person.
New documents filed in federal court this week accuse Drum of committing the same crimes with another girl.
Drum has been in jail since his arrest, and it wasn't immediately clear if he had an attorney.
