TUPELO, Mississippi — A Tupelo woman has been convicted and sentenced for the 2013 fatal shooting of her brother.

Prosecutors say 28-year-old Latosha Isby was charged with murder in the fatal shooting of her brother Eric Isby on Dec. 3, 2013.

Prosecutors say she pleaded guilty this past week to manslaughter. Lee County Circuit Judge Tommy Gardner sentenced Isby to 20 years with five years suspended. She also will serve five years' post-release probation.

Authorities say Isby and her brother got into an argument in front of his home. They Isby shot her brother during the incident.
