Police: man walking bicycle across a street dies after being struck by car in Warwick

WARWICK, Rhode Island — A 64-year-old bicyclist has died after being struck by a car in Warwick.

Police say they believe the man was walking his bike across Bald Hill Road when he was hit by a car at about 6 p.m. Friday. He died last at Rode Island Hospital.

Police said the car was driven by a 23-year-old Cranston man.

Warwick police continue to investigate and are asking anyone with information to call the department's traffic division.
