OXFORD, Mississippi — The Oxford School District is choosing to withhold $150,000 from Yates Construction Company until the work is completed at the high school.
The Oxford Eagle reports (http://bit.ly/1mM3phe) while the new $30 million Oxford High School opened in January for its first half semester this spring, some pieces of the new school have not been completed by the builder.
The list of remaining work includes sodding, paving repairs, some exterior and interior work.
Oxford schools architect Taylor Guild says some items are unfinished.
School officials say the $150,000 is enough to finish the things that need to be done.
