Authorities on Long Island say 2 men have been killed in a one-car crash in Fort Salonga

FORT SALONGA, New York — Authorities on Long Island say two men have been killed in a one-car crash in Fort Salonga.

A third man was seriously injured in the crash.

Newsday (http://nwsdy.li/1NODBL5 ) reports the accident happened about 4:30 a.m. Tuesday on Fort Salonga Road, on the north shore of Long Island. Police say the driver lost control and crashed into a tree.

The driver and a back-seat passenger died. The injured man was a front-seat passenger.

None of their identities were immediately released.

The cause is under investigation.
