Eastern Missouri teenager dies after being struck by car on highway

FARMINGTON, Missouri — An eastern Missouri teenager has died after being struck by a car while walking on a highway.

The Daily Journal newspaper in Park Hills, Missouri, reports that 17-year-old Caleb Crews of Farmington died Monday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Crews walked into the path of a car Sunday night on Highway 32 in Farmington. He was flown to a suburban St. Louis hospital where he died the next day.
